This weekend I’m giving up a beautiful sunny weekend at home in LA to jump on a plane to rainy Seattle. But its all good! Seattle is like London for me – you just expect it to rain, so you’re not at all disappointed when it does. Now if you’re heading to Cancun or Honolulu and it rains – THAT’s a disappointment. But Seattle? Well, it just comes with the territory, especially at this time of year.

Plus, I’m always just happy to check out a different city (even when it doesn’t require a passport stamp) especially when its for a Capoeira event.

This weekend the group Capoeira Males is hosting a women’s event full of Capoeira workshops, rodas, new and old friends and no doubt lots of good memories.  I’m actually heading to the airport now so I’ll have to keep this short, but if any of you are there are Seattle natives or at least Seattle fans, let me know what I should get up to in my free time.
