A weekend trip to London from the West Coast of the U.S. is not for the faint of heart. The 20-ish hours you’ll spend on the plane will hardly seem worth the only slightly more hours you’ll spend on the ground in this city. But if you’re truly have a heart for the city like I do, a few hours in London are better than none at all.
Granted I did have a 3 day weekend which allows for a bit more quality time with which to explore, and fortunately I’m not the kind of person that needs 8, or even 6 hours of sleep per night, so I didn’t have too much trouble suffering from jet lag. Also, I see London like a second home which I visit regularly, so I don’t feel pressured to fit everything into one trip.
But as glad as I am that I made the trip, now that I’m back home, I am feeling a bit worn out. I’ve been on the go for nearly 24 hours (planes, trains, automobiles and 2 capoeira classes) so tonight’s post will be a little lighter on the words and a little heavier on the photos.
Enjoy!
