I admit to having a strong bias towards international travel and if my trip does not require me to pack my passport, I seriously feel cheated. But sometimes its just good to go home, even if that home is in the United States and I’ve never been to that “home” before.
For me home is now just outside of Galveston, TX where my mother moved just about the time I took off on my Round the World trip this year. So even though I’ve never spent more that 4 hours in Galveston, its now home because home is where mom is. And while Galveston is not Paris or Rome, this seaside city does have its charms, from its beautiful homes to its laid-back daily pace. I don’t mind calling it home … until mom moves again. Can I suggest Rio de Janeiro next time, mom?

Galveston Texas seems like a very interesting and visually appealing place. I have been to Dallas and Fort Worth, and that kind of soiled my Texas experience. I am a coastal type of individual, this place speaks to me more. You seem like a very interesting young lady, as I you were bitten my the travel blog. Please continue to live it up mi amiga.

Galveston seemed to be a very chill, relaxing place, though I’m glad I went in November when the weather was warm and the skies clear – not sure if I would have been as happy in the heat & humidity of summer! wow thanx for checking it out. Panama is great I need to actually post the really nice parts of it. I was living in the bad area so thats really all I posted, and I have been getting negative comments on my Facebook by Panamanians living in the states, saying that Im making their country seem like its all bad, and in all fairness they have a point.
