Paris is such a beautiful city – the buildings, the gardens, the fashion, the people. But as one of the most visited cities in the world, you start to see the same photos over and over again. While I do lug around a big DSLR and I take many photos wherever I go, I’m by no means a professional photographer. I was afraid my pictures would start to look just like everyone else’s.
While I was in Paris, I came across a photography website (or perhaps it was in a magazine article) that showed the artist grouping pictures by color theme. I liked that idea and while my photos may not be one of a kind, I enjoyed seeking out photos based on a theme rather than just randomly shooting. I kind of made a game out of it.
