When in Los Angeles… (A Series)

Post_Skyline

Hi Everyone!  It is almost the end of January and I hope the year has started off with some great travel for you.  For me…well, since getting back from my New Year’s trip to Palm Springs, I’ve been home bound, but when you live in a great city like Los Angeles, it is not the end of the world.  Don’t get me wrong. I still look at my suitcases longingly, and when I have to go to the airport to pick up a friend I instinctively head to “Departures” instead of “Arrivals”.  But if I do have to stay put, Los Angeles is the place to be. With so much culture, diversity, indoor and outdoor activities, plus a constantly changing hotel and restaurant scene, you have to try very hard to be bored here.

So with almost one month done in 2017, I’m keeping an eye on my travel goals for 2017 to make sure I can achieve as many of them as possible. While most of those goals require me to jump on a plane, there is one that I can work on from right here at home:

Add “When in Los Angeles” Recommendations to There’s So Much to See

For as often as I like to travel, I realize I live in a city that millions of people come to visit each year for fun, family and business reasons. I’d love to be able to share my LA recommendations with you all on a regular basis so, this year I’m starting the “When in Los Angeles…” series of posts.  Once a month, I will profile a local activity, location, restaurant or hotel in or near Los Angeles. Keep an eye out for my first review before the end of the month. In the meantime, a great way to begin understanding Los Angeles is to get to know its neighborhoods.
