As I sit here with a belly full of two (yes…TWO) Thanksgiving dinners and only an hour left in the day, I wonder, what the heck am I going to write about. I want to be as consistent as possible about writing on this blog every Monday and Thursday. I guess I could take today as a holiday but,…. Nah! I’ll just make it short and sweet.

As much as I love to travel and experience other cultures, I do have to acknowledge one home team (aka American) tradition I love as well. I do really enjoy Thanksgiving and all that goes with it…the mounds of food that I normally wouldn’t allow myself to eat , being with family and friends with little to no agenda other than to relax, ingest and imbibe, and giving special thanks for the people, things and experiences that bring joy to my life. So Happy Thanksgiving to all who celebrate it. And for those who do not celebrate this holiday, please still take a second to reflect on what it is that you are thankful for today…and smile. As for me, everything I am thankful for fits riiiight here…
